Growing up in Warsaw, I watched it evolve from a grey, post-communist city into the vibrant, cosmopolitan metropolis it is today, boasting one of the most exciting and dynamic food scenes in Europe.

But it was only when I left Warsaw to explore the world that I truly realized what made my hometown so special.

Since 2016, I’ve spent over a year backpacking across continents, discovering new cultures through their local food scene. My fondest travel memories weren't spent in stuffy museums; they were simple, human moments around a table: taking my very first street food tour in India, discovering my favorite dessert in Thailand, or sitting at a crowded taco stand in Mexico.

Those journeys taught me a powerful lesson: food isn't just about eating. It is the single fastest, most authentic way to understand a place, its history, and its people.
